How does one respond when receiving suspicious fraudulent telephone calls?  (The Criminal Investigation Bureau)
If getting suspicious phone calls alleging to be coming from a police institution, you are kindly reminded to present the telephone number and the processor’s name by dialing the “165 anti-fraud consultation hotline” for verification, which will facilitate discerning whether it is a fraudulent phone call.  Or you are kindly asked to browse the Police Agency Web page (at http://www.npa.gov.tw/: Web page à agency introduction à police institution address/phone directory) to inquire the specific police institution’s telephone number, and please also refrain from supplying any individual information on the phone to avoid your personal information from being stolen.
